Piers Morgan made another appearance on Fox News tonight, this time telling Sean Hannity that he’s appalled by the “crazy hysteria” surrounding the media’s coverage of President Trump.
Morgan said the press was fueling Trump all the way through the primaries and couldn’t destroy the beast they helped create.
Now, he argued, there’s a “concerted attempt to delegitimize, sabotage and destroy the Trump presidency before it’s even started.”
“I think that is un-American,” Morgan said. “I don’t think it’s a patriotic thing that they’re doing. I think it’s nakedly partisan.”
He pointed a finger at the New York Times in particular, recalling a time when he saw overwhelmingly negative pieces about Trump in just one issue. He called it a “very partisan paper masquerading as a paper of record.”
