Joy Behar Eats Crow On Live TV — and It’s Glorious (Video)

From America News Hub:

The egg was thick on ABC cackler Joy Behar’s face as Monday’s broadcast of The View began when Behar was forced to admit that she jumped the gun last Friday when ABC’s Brian Ross disgorged his fake news that Donald Trump had been caught “colluding” with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

Last week, ABC’s Ross reported that Robert Mueller had caught Donald Trump colluding with Russia when he was still a candidate running to become president.

“[Flynn is prepared to testify, we are told by a confidant, against President Trump, against members of the Trump family, and others in the White House,” Ross claimed on the air on Friday. “He is prepared to testify that President Trump, as a candidate Donald Trump, ordered him to make contact with the Russians, which contradicts all that Donald Trump has said at this point.”

But, it turned out that Ross got the whole thing wrong and the real story was that Trump had been in contact with Russia after he won the election — and there was no violation of any law with that contact.

Ross later issued a “clarification” to his fake news report:

But it was too late. Ross’ fake news report caused the stock market to temporarily plummet causing investors to lose millions of dollars with the 350 point drop on Friday.

It was also too late for Behar because as soon as the fake news broke, Behar touted it on the Friday episode of The View cackling and applauding that they finally “got” Trump and impeachment was certain.

If you can stand to watch her, here is how Behar reacted last Friday:

Of course, by Monday Behar was trying to blame everyone else for making her look so foolish last week. In Monday’s broadcast, she “clarified” the situation for her audience.

“On Friday’s show, apparently I was guilty of premature evaluation. I hear they have a pill for that,” she tried to joke, according to Fox News.

In a statement read on “The View” Monday, ABC News said the report “had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process.”

“It is vital we get the story right and retain the trust we have built with our audience,” the statement continued. “These are our core principles. We fell far short of that yesterday.”

“People are slamming this as fake news, I think it’s a mistake,” Behar said, throwing the topic to the panel.

“I will say that fake news and what we did on Friday, that’s what I was being accused of being a part of. I don’t want to sit on a show where I feel like we’re giving fake news or acting irresponsibly.” McCain said.

Yeah, the Beharlot isn’t really sorry at all. Just sorry she got caught.
