Via I Have The Truth:
Pigs are flying, hell has frozen over, and the fat lady is ripping a tune…
It’s all over.
Former failed Secretary of State, Benghazi abandoner, Foundation corrupting, Hillary Clinton has been reported by a close friend that she is done with her political career.
This was all during a CNN interview.
One you don’t want to miss.
Neera Tanden, President of the Center for American Progress, was responding to a New York Post editorial urging the Democratic presidential candidate to run against Bill de Blasio for mayor of the Big Apple.
“Yes, we were highly critical of Hillary Clinton in the runup to Election Day. But that was the race for the White House, where she offered a program far to the left of the nation’s center,” the Post editors wrote over the weekend. “Not so in New York, where she’d be dead-center in the city’s Democratic majority. Progressive, but not obsessed with proving it — nor with trying to use the mayoralty to become a national leader.”
Tanden was Clinton’s advisor during the 2008 campaign. She said she would retire from politics to pursue her passion of helping children.
“I think she’s going to figure out ways to help kids and families. That’s been what she’s been focused on her whole life, and a lot of issues that are affecting them, over the next couple of years,” Tanden said.
That would be a departure from the last time Clinton had a failed presidential bid. She served as Secretary of State, wrote a crappy memoir, and made millions of dollars giving speeches to major Wall Street firms.
Last week, Virginia Gov. and Hillary pal Terry McAuliffe said Hillary was done with politics. From The Washington Post:
Asked if the Clintons are done with politics now, he said: “I think so, sure. I don’t think Hillary has any interest in running again. I’ll let her speak for herself. I haven’t asked her that. I think the president’s probably going to go back, working on all the good deeds he’s done before in helping people around the globe. You know, there are elections. We’ve got to move forward. As governor of Virginia, I’ve got to move forward.”
Ok, well that’s one supposedly down, and many more to go.
However, this is a good start, the wicked witch of the east is hanging up her broomstick. Now, for the wicked witch of the West…how do we get Pelosi to follow in her Sister’s footsteps?
